Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) is represented by two of its alumni in the National Awards contest, organized by Senescyt.
The competition, which gathers 59 projects from 24 universities in the country, reaches its end this November 12 with the proclamation of the best research works during the National Projects Fair that takes place in Quito.
Priscilla Bermeo Ramos, graduate of the School of Economics and Business Sciences, and Julian Pérez Correa, alumni of the School of Environmental Sciences, are participating with two projects developed under the mentorship of René Rodríguez, Director of the School of Environmental Sciences UEES and Maritza Cárdenas, professor.
The research works are: Manufacture of ecological bricks from waste materials for social housing and Analysis of the effect of benthic macroinvertebrate colonization using artificial substrates in the Estero Salado.
