UEES incorporated more than 200 new professionals from the Schools of Architecture and Civil Engineering; Economics and Business Sciences; Tourism and Hotel Management; Liberal Arts and Education Sciences; Communication Sciences; Law, Politics and Development; Systems, Telecommunications and Electronics; in two graduation ceremonies held on November 11.

Dr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, Rector, made the opening remarks before an audience of more than 100 people, in which he encouraged the graduates to remember their time at the University.

Dr. Galo García Feraud, President of the UEES Advisory Council, took the collective oath for both ceremonies.

During the ceremony, the academic distinctions for graduation, the distinctions for research merit and the extracurricular distinctions for graduation were awarded:

Cum Laude Distinction“

This Distinction is awarded to students who have obtained during their studies at UEES an overall cumulative average between 95 and 96 out of 100.

This Distinction is awarded to students who have obtained during their studies at UEES a cumulative overall average between 97 and 98 out of 100.

Ernesto Arroba Salvador Award for Research Merit

This distinction is awarded to graduates who stood out during the completion of their degree work and obtained a final average of more than 96 points.

Extracurricular Graduation Distinctions

These extracurricular awards are given to professionals who have excelled in different areas during their studies at UEES.

The graduation speeches were given by the graduate with the highest cumulative graduation average: Lic. José Luis Pilozo Hablich, who addressed his classmates with an emotional speech, at the 11:00 and 17:00 ceremonies.
