The School of Tourism and Hospitality, fulfilling one of its main objectives: to contribute to the development of Ecuador's tourism activity, organized a conference where tourist safety was analyzed from three topics: Tourism Operation; Health and Gastronomy; and Safety Management for foreign and domestic tourists.

The panel was formed by: Fanny Condo, technical specialist of the Ministry of Tourism; Pedro Iván Serrano, Manager of Sheraton Hotel and representative of GHL chain; and Yorgi Ramírez professor of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and expert in tourism legislation, who was the moderator of the event.

The discussion was attended by tourism and security stakeholders in the country, such as Luis Felipe Alava, Tourism Coordinator of Zone 5 of the Litoral, as well as students and teachers of Tourism and Hospitality.
