Within the framework of the D. in Organizational Administration and Management of the Espiritu Santo University (UEES) y ESAI Business School, was successfully carried out at the 1st International Seminar, an academic event that brought together students, researchers, professors and entrepreneurs to reflect on the current challenges and opportunities surrounding the entrepreneurship and innovation.

The seminar, held in the form of a on-site and virtual, The event offered a space for interdisciplinary dialogue with international experts who addressed cutting-edge topics. Among the keynote speakers were:

  • Michael Fritsch: Trends in Entrepreneurship Research, The report provides an in-depth look at current trends in entrepreneurship research.
  • Alina Sorgner: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Labor Markets in Developing Countries, who presented a novel methodological approach with practical application in countries such as Laos and Vietnam.
  • Alex Coad: Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Regional Persistence of High Growth Firms: A ‘Broken Clock’ Critique, where he questioned established paradigms about entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Javier Changoluisa: The Effects of National vs. International New Business Formation on the Productivity of Incumbents, a key analysis of the influence of entrepreneurship in developing countries.

The event concluded with active audience participation and a wide-ranging academic discussion that enriched the perspective of all attendees on the role of innovation and artificial intelligence in contemporary business models.
