The Universidad Espiritu Santo received an important award in commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the Professionalization and 177th anniversary of the Institutionalization of the National Police, for its contribution to the strengthening of security from the academy. UEES has contributed to the academic training of professionals, providing benefits to more than 600 police officers through its degree program in Citizen Security and Police Sciences.

The rector of UEES, Joaquín Hernández, received this recognition, which signifies a commitment to continue working together for security in society. In the same ceremony, the U.S. Consulate and the Municipality of Guayaquil were also honored.

It is important to emphasize that security is everyone's responsibility, and the academy must be an active part of crime prevention and the promotion of peace in our streets. UEES is honored to have received this distinction and will continue working to build a safer society.
