On the afternoon of September 12, in the Aula Magna of Espiritu Santo University, the 8th Cohort of imposition of aprons to the future Doctors of the Republic of Ecuador from the UEES School of Medicine.

Parents helped them put on the white apron, which is symbolically given to those who have finished their internship season and are about to graduate.

The board of directors of the event was formed by: Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado, UEES Chancellor; Dr. Alfredo Palacio; Dr. Guillermo Flores, Institutional Controller; Dr. Pedro Barberán, Dean of the School of Medical Sciences; Dr. Juan Carlos Gallardo, Director of the Dental Career; Onay Mercader, Director of the Nutrition and Dietetics Career.

Dr. Alfredo Palacio offered some words for the young people,

“The white apron symbolizes purity, that is what you must transmit to your patients. Medicine is an art, you have been trained with the best teachers and the best techniques, we are proud of you, now you must fulfill this task”.

The ceremony was attended by family members, friends and people close to the new doctors. At the beginning of their professional career, so that a new generation of health professionals will be integrated into the country's labor field.
