The first Latin American Congress of Municipalities and Prefectures 2019 was held at the Convention Center of the Espiritu Santo University (UEES), which aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences between similar entities in search of enhancing their own and common skills in search of a functional synergy between institutions and officials that contribute to a successful management.

National and international speakers took part in the event. Among them the former mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, with the presentation «Guayaquil as a model of successful management» also participated Carlos Luis Morales, Prefect of the Province of Guayas; Juan José Yúnez, mayor of Samborondón; among others.

The congress was held on September 9 and 10. In addition to offering conferences with exhibitors who spoke from their experience, a business conference was held with renowned international investors. At the same time, they seek to offer their products and services so that the projects of all the authorities are fulfilled within the deadlines offered.
