In a spectacular display of cultural diversity, the School of International Studies of Espiritu Santo University successfully celebrated the seventh edition of the «Intercultural Day» event. The main objective of the meeting was to immerse attendees in a fascinating journey through the different cultures, traditions, gastronomy and history of countries around the world.

«It is a unique opportunity to learn about and celebrate the richness of cultures that exist in the world. It allows us to open our minds, broaden our perspectives and foster an environment of tolerance and respect for diversity,» said Isidro Fierro, dean of the faculty.

The event was held from 17:00 to 20:00, giving students the opportunity to explore the various stands from countries such as Indonesia, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, among others. In addition, they enjoyed a wide variety of typical dishes, artistic presentations and exhibitions that reflected unique cultural expressions.

Intercultural Day was attended by Agung Kurdiani, Ambassador of Indonesia in Ecuador, and representatives of the Embassies of the United States, Panama and Argentina.

In this way, UEES reaffirms its commitment to the promotion of a society that is globally aware and respectful of cultural differences.
