UEES inducted more than 200 new professionals from the Schools of Architecture and Civil Engineering; Economics and Business Sciences; Tourism and Hospitality; Liberal Arts and Education Sciences; Communication Sciences; Law, Politics and Development; Systems, Telecommunications and Electronics; International Studies and Medicine; in two graduation ceremonies held on March 24, 2017.
Dr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, Rector, made the opening remarks at the morning ceremony, before an audience of more than 100 people, in which he encouraged the graduates to remember their time at the University.
In the afternoon ceremony, Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado, Chancellor of UEES, gave the opening remarks, in which he encouraged the graduates to transcend, since the future of our country depends on the new generations of professionals.
Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado, Chancellor of UEES, took the collective oath at the morning ceremony, while Dr. Joaquín Hernández, Rector, took the oath at the afternoon graduation.
During the ceremonies, the academic distinctions for graduation, the distinctions for research merit and the extracurricular distinctions for graduation were awarded:
Cum Laude Distinction“
This Distinction is awarded to students who have obtained during their studies at UEES an overall cumulative average between 95 and 96 out of 100.
