UEES inducted more than 160 new professionals from the Faculties of Architecture and Civil Engineering; Economics and Business Sciences; Tourism and Hospitality; Liberal Arts and Education Sciences; Communication Sciences; Law, Politics and Development; Systems, Telecommunications and Electronics; and International Studies; at a graduation ceremony held on July 26, 2018.

Dr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, Rector, gave the opening remarks during the ceremony, before an audience of more than 300 people, in which he reminded the graduates of their integral formation at the University.

Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado, Ph.D., UEES Chancellor, took the collective oath.

During the incorporation, the academic distinctions for graduation, the distinctions for research merit and the extracurricular distinctions for graduation were awarded:

Cum Laude Distinction“

This Distinction is awarded to students who have obtained during their studies at UEES a cumulative overall average between 95 and 96 out of 100.

This Distinction is awarded to students who have obtained during their studies at UEES a cumulative overall average between 97 and 98 out of 100.

The graduation speech was given by Architect Eliana Viteri Crespo, who addressed her classmates with an emotional speech.
