The Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) was part of the first edition of the Tonicorp Nutrition Academy, a platform that brought together more than 60 nutrition professionals in a space for learning, updating and collaboration, focused on science, innovation and wellness. This initiative, led by Tonicorp, an Ecuadorian company with more than 47 years of experience, was consolidated as a knowledge hub that connects scientific evidence with professional practice.
From academia, the participation of UEES reaffirms its commitment to continuing education and strengthening the role of nutritionists as agents of change in an increasingly informed and digital society. Throughout the program, participants had access to comprehensive virtual training in professional digital communication, evidence-based nutrition and nutrition labeling, developed together with academic and scientific experts, with the aim of promoting responsible and technically supported dissemination.
The program was possible thanks to the articulation between business and academia, with the participation of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil (UCSG), the University of the Americas (UDLA) and UEES, demonstrating that inter-institutional collaboration enhances knowledge, accelerates innovation and amplifies social impact. The closing event included interactive experiences such as Live Podcast, Share a Smoothie y Yogurt Lab, integrating creativity and learning.
With its participation in Tonicorp Nutrition Academy, UEES continues to actively contribute to initiatives that link science with the welfare of society, strengthening the training of professionals committed to health, innovation and sustainable development of the country.
