Inauguration of the UEES Archaeological Gallery

UEES - Espiritu Santo University > News > Inauguration of the UEES Archaeological Gallery

This Thursday, May 9, on the second floor of Building P, the inauguration of the archaeological pieces donated by Guillermo Hurel Prieto took place.

Carla Orosco, student of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, made the opening speech

“I thank UEES for providing a space for the archaeological gallery, which has adequate furniture and lighting to appreciate these relics.”.

Authorities, teachers and students were at the event to witness all the pieces along the corridor located in the law school.

Guillermo Hurel Prieto comments “I have dedicated 60 years to this and it seemed to me that the UEES is the most appropriate institution to receive these archaeological pieces, since it can give them an adequate use in terms of didactics, so that in the future they can grow and research can be carried out”.”

The event culminated with the cutting of the ribbon by the Chancellor of the institution, Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado.
