On Friday, August 23, the Carlos Julio Arosemena Monroy Reading Room of the Faculty of Law, Politics and Development was renamed on the second floor of the Postgraduate Building.
Among the guests at the ceremony were: Dr. Alfredo Palacio, former President of the Republic of Ecuador; Beatriz Graciela Arosemena Monroy, sister of Carlos Arosemena Monroy; Dr. Carlos Julio Arosemena Peet, son and Sandra Arosemena Peet de Parra.
Joaquín Hernández, rector of UEES commented:
“Espiritu Santo University is holding today an act of recognition for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Carlos Julio Arosemena Monroy, former constitutional president of the Republic of Ecuador.».
