From November 25 to 28, a team of evaluators from EQUAA (Education Quality Accreditation Agency) visited the Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) in order to learn about, review and evaluate 21 academic programs of the Business area of the Graduate School, as part of the international accreditation process.
During their stay, the evaluators held meetings with program directors, faculty, students, graduates and company representatives, in order to understand the institutional context, academic objectives, teaching strategies, results achieved and opportunities for improvement. This visit marks the final phase of a process that has taken almost a year of continuous work.
EQUAA accreditation is a voluntary, non-governmental process that involves an external review to verify the ability of a higher education institution to offer academic programs with international quality standards.
“The result of the accreditation is not only that we discovered a beautiful university, a luxury campus that competes with the best internationally and ranks among the best in Latin America. The most important thing is the human team we met: an extremely friendly team of extraordinary capacity. It has been a real pleasure to get to know the university and, humbly, to offer some recommendations for it to continue on its path towards continuous improvement and the permanent search for quality,” said Eric Talavera Campbell, executive director of EQUAA.
Obtaining EQUAA accreditation, in any of its levels, represents an international recognition that certifies that the institution offers an education aligned with its mission and with the demands of the market and society.
