In the Regent's Hall of the Convention Center The National Agreement for Competitiveness, Employment and Innovation, one of the policies promoted by the current government, which is entering a stage that seeks to consolidate agreements in areas considered a priority, was held at the Espiritu Santo University.

Vice President Otto Sonnenholzner, who participated in the National Accord, said:

“Competitiveness is the ability to stand face to face with any country in the world and say: ”I can do it too! Only in this way, with everyone focused on the same goal, will we achieve a prosperous and equitable country".

Also participating in the Agreement were Yuri Parreño, Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fishing; Guadalupe Duran, manager of Yanbal; Oswaldo Chica, head of the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores; Richard Martinez Alvarado, Minister of Finance; Andres Madero, Minister of Labor.
