The Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) successfully held the second edition of its Welcome Fest Postgraduate 2025, The event was aimed at welcoming graduate students and accompanying them at the beginning of their online university experience. At the event, attendees learned first-hand about the benefits of being part of UEES Online, as well as various tools that will enhance their academic experience in this new stage.
Delia Choquehuanca and César Vélez accompanied the students throughout the evening. Among the special guests were Estéfani Espín, journalist and president of the RETT Foundation and Dr. Carlos Correa, Academic and Research Director of UEES Online, who shared a comprehensive vision on the importance of innovation and academic quality in postgraduate education.
The renowned journalist and social activist Estéfani Espín shared with our students an inspiring message about the importance of leading with purpose and human sensitivity; from her experience as head of the RETT Foundation, an organization that promotes inclusion and accompaniment for families of girls with Rett syndrome and other disabilities, she highlighted how to transform pain into social action and build a more empathetic society, motivating our students to assume their graduate path as an opportunity to grow, inspire and leave their mark on the world.
In addition, a space was provided for students to interact with authorities and teachers, resolving concerns previously sent through social networks, thus strengthening the proximity and institutional support.
A special milestone of the day was the delivery of the UEES Online Passport, an emblem that represents the official start of the new students in the virtual learning community. Through this initiative, UEES ratifies its commitment to provide a university experience that goes beyond the digital classrooms, combining academic excellence, innovation and close support, so that each graduate student feels supported from day one.
