The Universidad de Especialidades Espiritu Santo (UEES), received more than 400 academics who attended the ARCA International Meeting on Higher Education: Post Pandemic Innovation, The event took place at the Espiritu Santo University Convention Center on June 9 and 10.

This remarkable academic event brought together the world's top leaders in higher education to present at an international level, the best practices of disruptive strategies of their universities and organizations to achieve competitive success in the global society.

The ARCA International Meeting on Higher Education strengthened the knowledge and friendship among rector-leaders, exchanged experiences, explored new opportunities for cooperation, defined common development strategies, collaboration and business links among colleagues from the Caribbean, the Americas and the region of influence. The international meeting also resulted in the signing of important agreements.

One of the components of this Higher Education meeting were the lectures and master workshops given by outstanding international speakers with extensive experience, among the most important of which are the following:

  • José Escamilla de los Santos - from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
  • José Joaquín Brunner Ried - Chilean politician, researcher and academic.
  • Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval - California State University Fresno
  • Phil Baty, Times Higher Education
  • Bruce Sillner, New Paltz SUNY (USA)
  • Sarah Malcolm, Kent State University
  • Dr. Carles Sigalés Conde, Universidad Oberta de Cataluña.

In addition, national and international organizations such as:
HUAWEI, Partners of America, World Bank, AMAZON, IDB Invest, BLACKBOARD - ANTHOLOGY, ANECA, QS, GLOCAL, Comisión Permanente de Universidades y Escuelas Politécnicas.
