On September 24 and 25, 2025, Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) participated in the XII Summit of Leaders for Education: Educating for the Future, The event was held in Bogota, Colombia, one of the most important spaces for academic debate in the region.
The event, organized by Semana and Semana Educación forums, brought together ministers, high-level speakers, rectors, entrepreneurs, innovative teachers and international experts and researchers to reflect on the challenges of contemporary education, with emphasis on digital transformation, inclusion, pedagogical innovation and adaptation to changes in the labor market.
On behalf of UEES, Yeisbys Arango Márquez, Director of Operations of UEES Online, participated as a speaker in the talk “The urgency of training for tomorrow's jobs”. Her intervention focused on analyzing the challenges and opportunities faced by education systems in the face of the accelerated transformation of the labor market, highlighting the need to prepare professionals in digital skills, critical thinking, innovation and adaptability, key skills to respond to the demands of the future.
Likewise, Adriana Revelo, International Legal Advisor of UEES Online, led the workshop “Internationalization 360°: How to expand the university beyond borders”, in which she addressed the importance of generating global academic networks, promoting strategic agreements and strengthening student and faculty mobility as pillars for the international projection of higher education.
UEES' participation in this summit reaffirms its commitment to academic leadership and educational innovation in Ibero-America, consolidating its role as an institution that promotes comprehensive training proposals with a global vision.
