UEES marks the start of Investor Week

UEES - Espiritu Santo University > Economy > UEES marks the start of Investor Week

From October 2 to 6, lectures will be held in different universities nationwide in order to promote financial and stock market education in Ecuador.

The Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance (SCVS) and the Guayaquil Stock Exchange (BVG) inaugurated the VII edition of Investor Week 2023, an initiative promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions, at the Universidad Espíritu Santo.

This represents an opportunity for students and teachers to access valuable knowledge, tools and resources about the world of investments and stock markets. The most important topics that will be addressed are: Sustainable Finance, Investor Resilience and Cryptoassets.

The inauguration event was attended by Marco López Narváez, Superintendent of Companies, Securities and Insurance; Ricardo Rivadeneira, president of the Board of Directors of the Guayaquil Stock Exchange; Eliana Molina, academic vice-rector of UEES; Francisco Alemán, dean of UEES and other authorities.
