UEES finalizes the vaccination process

UEES - Espiritu Santo University > News > UEES finalizes the vaccination process

Espiritu Santo University, since the beginning of the pandemic, has been collaborating with the community through: telemedicine, psychological assistance, performing more than 100,000 covid tests with its molecular biology laboratory UEESBiolab, opening of UEESCLINIC with more than 500 patients, 60 scientific publications and with 140,000 people vaccinated in the campus.

Since the institution will return to on-site attendance, it is necessary to have all areas available, so the vaccination plan carried out by the Ministry of Health at the sports complex was terminated.

«When the pandemic occurred, we did not look aside, we decided to face it. Thanks to the MSP, to all those who passed through this campus, students, directors, doctors, collaborators, volunteers. Life goes on and we must continue with our raison d'être, which is education.»
Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado, UEES Chancellor

The Ministry of Public Health, through a ceremony, presented awards to UEES managers and teachers for their collaboration throughout the vaccination process.
