The first academic program of its kind with academia at the regional level. A joint participation between both institutions in order to share additional knowledge about new technologies, experiences and experimental practices at Holcim's facilities to our Civil Engineering students from the Engineering faculty.

This gives students the possibility of acquiring new competencies, reinforcing knowledge and applying the acquired knowledge at an experimental level. It also allows them to develop new research.

The objectives are to share experiences, knowledge and manufacturing processes of sustainable construction materials with future professionals of Civil Engineering careers. Likewise, to present new trends, needs and methodologies in construction, to show innovative, modern and low carbon footprint materials and to strengthen academic knowledge with the interaction and experience of the industry.

The program is aimed at Civil Engineering students in the 3rd year of the professional unit of the career.

It is the first academic program at this level aimed at Civil Engineering students, training in new trends and technologies related to concrete, link with private enterprise, opportunity to perform experimental practices with technified equipment and link with pre-professional practices.
