Students from the International Business program of the UEES School of International Studies inaugurated the year by participating in the Intensive Winter Program on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, offered by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy.

For ten days, the 18 young people took full advantage of the program, led by Sacro Cuore professor Alessandro Palmarin.

During the course, students analyzed case studies of international startups and companies to familiarize themselves with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, existing initiatives and deepen their understanding of possible alternative business models.

The learning objectives of the course were:

  • Explore the main dimensions of entrepreneurship.
  • Identify the main challenges related to managing a business, with a specific focus on SMEs.
  • Become familiar with the main dimensions of a successful business model.

The students had the support and co-teaching spaces led by Billy Andrade, professor at UEES.

“We are confident that this experience will be a source of inspiration, professional growth and lasting connections,” detailed Inés Carrasco, academic director.

In this way, the university seeks to broaden the global vision of its students, connecting them with world-class academic and business leaders and offering memorable experiences.
