The Research Center and the Family Business Studies and Development Unit of Espiritu Santo University, together with the Family Business Institution of Spain, Banco del Pacifico and the Superintendence of Companies, presented the “Presentation of the results of the First Report on the study of Family Business in Ecuador”.

The purpose of this event was to provide exclusive information on the business panorama of our country, where for the first time, the number of family businesses in Ecuador and the real weight they have within our economy was made known.

The event took place on Monday, November 20 in the Events Room of the UEES Convention Center at 18:30.

Family businesses play an important role in the country's macroeconomic decisions, so it is necessary to highlight their contribution to our society.

Dr. Juan Carlos Corona, General Director of the Family Business Institute, Mrs. Suad Manssur, Superintendent of Companies, Dr. Efrain Viera, Executive President of Banco del Pacífico, and Dr. Marcelo Andrade, Director of the Family Business Studies and Development Unit of the Espíritu Santo University, participated in the presentation of the results.

The event concluded with the signing of an inter-institutional cooperation agreement between UEES and Banco del Pacífico for future academic and research projects.
