The Prefecture of Guayas together with UEES organizes the First International Congress on Road Concessions, The event, a crucial event to define the best management model for road infrastructure in the province of Guayas.
National and foreign experts will discuss topics such as new concession modalities, road maintenance and sustainable mobility alternatives.
Within the framework of a strategic alliance, the Prefecture of Guayas and the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES) are organizing the First International Congress 2022 on Road Concessions, which will be held on August 2, 3 and 4, 2022, in Samborondón, at the UEES facilities.
This event will discuss, from a technical and academic perspective, new concession modalities, public asset management, road maintenance and sustainable mobility alternatives, among other topics, with the objective of designing the next road infrastructure management model for the Prefecture of Guayas.
National and foreign experts on infrastructure, road concessions and private financing will participate in the meeting.
The panelists will also include directors of the most important road concessions in the region, former ministers of state, congressmen, consultants, national traffic and airport authorities and renowned jurists.
The road infrastructure management model to be defined for the coming decades will allow the incorporation of private capital into the development and operation of infrastructure activities, in order to address the current huge deficit and the lack of resources at the local level.
It will also contribute to the development of the provincial road network to enhance the interconnection between the different population, productive and logistic centers, which is essential to promote the socio-economic development of the province and the country.
