Law professionals with a third level degree, duly registered with SENESCYT.

Professional profile to be obtained

The graduate of the master's program will be a professional with the competencies to:

  • Differentiate the constitutional rights and obligations of legal entities.
  • To understand the role of entrepreneurship in society.
  • To understand the legal regime of private property, its scope, limits and guarantees. To assimilate the social and environmental function of property.
  • Develop different business contracts and typical, atypical and financial contractual clauses. 
  • Apply and advise on the legal treatment in force with respect to the labor factor, rights of workers and employees, their obligations, employer's powers and their limitations.
  • To understand the legal-tax relationship of the company, taxpayers' rights, powers and competencies of the IRS.
  • To use the tools obtained from the knowledge of the basic notions of criminal law, and thus be able to advise on the criminal liability of legal persons.
  • Provide preventive advisory services to companies regarding regulatory compliance and the relationship between the State and the company, in order to avoid possible conflicts or sanctions, as well as defense in administrative and judicial proceedings.
  • To know and apply the aspects related to the lifting of the corporate veil.
  • Advise in the area of public law, through the establishment of public companies.
  • Advise on the means of resolving legal disputes and intellectual property rights.
  • Be able to conduct legal research related to business law, from the academic to the professional.

Admission Process

  1. Fill out the digital admission form, making sure to upload the following mandatory documents:
    • Identity card.
    • Title registration in Senescyt.
    • In the case of degrees issued abroad, the diploma must be duly apostilled or consular legalized.
  2. Make the payment of the registration fee (option included at the end of the digital form).
  3. Perform aptitude test.
  4. English test: A1 proficiency is required.
  5. Interview with the Director of the master's program.
