On Monday, February 4, 2019, the launch of the Organic Law on Entrepreneurship and Innovation was held at UEES.
The presentation was made by Assemblymen Esteban Albornoz, Chairman of the Economic, Productive and Microenterprise Development Committee of the National Assembly, and César Rohón, member of the Economic, Productive and Microenterprise Development Committee of the National Assembly.
The project seeks to create a system with capital that supports entrepreneurs, in addition to timely financial support programs that facilitate access to the market. Rohón said that the time has come to work on laws that allow us to embrace the future, «we want young entrepreneurs not to leave the universities to look for jobs but to create them».
The proposal contemplates a special hiring regime where the Ministry of Labor must establish hourly and not fixed-term jobs. Rubén Morán, Undersecretary of Investments of the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fishing, said that a joint work has been carried out for the productivity of the country. And that incentives are being studied to support and promote this law of innovation and entrepreneurship.
