UEES OBTAINS ACADEMIC EQUIVALENCE IN THE UNITED STATES, OPENING NEW PATHS FOR ITS STUDENTS

UEES students and alumni will have an academic degree valid in the U.S., an educational and employment opportunity for those who wish to live abroad.

Samborondón, January 31. - Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) announces a new milestone by obtaining the institutional report with the academic equivalence in the United States for its undergraduate degrees. This achievement, a product of its internationally recognized academic excellence, offers new global educational and career prospects for its students.

Eliana Molina, Academic Vice Rector of UEES, noted: “Our institution requested the Institutional Report from the Josef Silny & Associates Agency belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), who evaluated the degrees issued by Universidad Espiritu Santo, resulting in the academic equivalence in the United States for some of them”.

This means that, for example, if a student obtains a Master's degree in Project Management from UEES, it can be recognized as equivalent to a Master in Project Management in the United States.

The academic equivalency provides a series of benefits, among them: the possibility of admission to U.S. educational institutions; they contribute to immigration processes such as professional VISAS (EB1, EB2, Labor Certification or work visas); more opportunities to access jobs and facilitate the application to Official Institutions such as Secretariats, Departments, Mayors' Offices or governmental agencies.

Procedure:

• Consultation on the web page: Students, graduates or graduates of any promotion can consult the UEES website to see if their degree and/or program applies for academic equivalency.
• Service request: Make the request for the corresponding service through the university's service portal, attaching the required information.
• Payment of the amount: Pay the corresponding amount to initiate the process.
• Receipt of documentation: After 45 calendar days, students will receive all physical documentation from the university, including the Educational Credentials Evaluation Report, the Hague Apostille, the degree in English and the equivalency certificate.
