The School of International Studies organized the second “Persuasive Speech Contest”, an intercollegiate contest aimed at motivating high school students to practice and improve their English language speaking and learning.
This year, the contest had the participation of national and international jurors, Anastasia Beryl from Canada, Martha Chavez from Ecuador and Aleksandar Tusev from Australia, who had the difficult task of choosing the winners among the twelve participating schools.
Some of the topics the students developed are: Online vs. Face to face teaching, Donald Trump, Julian Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy, among others.

- Third Place: Ecomundo Babahoyo
