The Latin America Bond Awards 2024, organized by Global Capital, took place this Tuesday, April 16, at the Metropolitan Club of New York. During the event, the former Minister of Economy and Finance, Pablo Arosemena Marriott, received special recognition in the «Liability Management» category for his outstanding management of the debt-for-conservation swap operation carried out in May 2023.

The General Director of the Eureka Entrepreneurship Center of the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES), Arosemena Marriott, expressed his satisfaction: “Ecuador benefits not only by reducing its foreign debt and protecting the Galapagos Islands, but also by establishing a path towards future similar successful operations”.

Arosemena Marriott is known for his work as an entrepreneur and consultant, in addition to his role as director of the UEES Eureka Entrepreneurship Center.

The Latin America Bond Awards, organized by Global Capital, recognize the leaders of the Latin American financial market through a rigorous process of surveys of the main investors, financiers and operators in the international financial market.
