From June 4 to 7, the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) hosted the international course “.“American Legal System and Legal Reasoning”.”, dictated by the Professor John Smagula, Vice Dean for International Programs at Temple School of Law. The training, focused on the functioning of the U.S. legal system and legal reasoning in English, was attended by 58 participants, including professors, students and law graduates from UEES.
The initiative is part of the agreement that UEES maintains with Temple University, an institution ranked as one of the world's leading universities. number one in Oral Litigation in the U.S.. Thanks to this agreement, course participants have the possibility of transferring the course as an academic credit in Temple's Master of Laws (LL.M.) program, an exclusive benefit for UEES students and alumni.
During four days, attendees strengthened their legal skills in English and deepened their knowledge of key aspects of American law in a high-level international academic environment. Professor Smagula's presence provided a valuable space for practical learning and exchange with one of the most prestigious law schools in the United States.
With this activity, UEES continues to consolidate its leadership in transnational legal education and its commitment to global training.
