Last Thursday, August 6, the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) and the Benemérita Sociedad Protectora de la Infancia signed an inter-institutional agreement establishing a cooperative relationship in the following aspects:

  • Develop inter-institutional cooperation activities;
  • To carry out research and networking programs and projects for mutual benefit;
  • Execute the programming of seminars and academic events between both institutions;
  • Conduct training and continuing education programs;
  • Develop programs for professional practices and internships; and,
  • Any other activity that, within the scope of this Agreement, is of mutual benefit.

Dr. Joaquín Hernández, Rector, signed for UEES and Dr. Ricardo Koenig, President, for the Sociedad Protectora de la Infancia.

The ceremony was held at the Patronato Universitario and was attended by Eng. Marlena León, Academic Vice Chancellor; Econ. Eliana Molina, Academic Comptroller; Dr. José Pedro Barberán, Dean of the School of Medicine; Mrs. Leticia Pino, Director of the Continuing Education Division and Dr. María Dolores Cazorla, Director of the UEES Research Center.
