The authorities of the Universidad Espíritu Santo, headed by Chancellor Carlos Ortega Maldonado, received the visit of the Minister of Health, Juan Carlos Zeballos, and toured the campus facilities, the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the University Clinic.

The tour showed what will be the new UEESCLINIC, which is scheduled to be inaugurated in January 2021 and will include outpatient, emergency and surgical center services.

The Minister of Health commented on the contribution of UEESBiolab during the health emergency: ”I have witnessed in Quito the mobile centers that UEES sent to perform Covid-19 tests during the pandemic. That is a huge contribution and an example for the rest of the universities in Ecuador. A thousand thanks UEES.”
