During the month of December, the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) participated in important events held in Madrid, Spain, with the aim of strengthening ties with the Ecuadorian and migrant community living in Europe. On behalf of the University, Professor Monserratt Bustamante Chán attended, who had the opportunity to share closely with the attendees and live this experience of academic, cultural and community exchange, contributing to the strengthening of the institutional presence in international spaces.

UEES, was present at the 2025 Cinnamon Cup, a sporting and cultural event that brought together the Ecuadorian community on December 7 around one of its most representative traditions, the championship of ecuavoley. This meeting generated a space for integration, in which information was shared about UEES' online academic offerings and the training opportunities available for those living abroad.

In addition, UEES participated on December 18th in the International Migrants Day Fair, This is a space aimed at recognizing the contribution of migrants and promoting access to information, services and opportunities for their personal and professional development. In this context, the academic spread and highlighted the advantages of studying in our online modality, with a flexible, high quality and internationally recognized education.

Participation in these meetings was not only aimed at Ecuadorians living in Madrid and other cities in Spain, but was open to the general public, reaffirming the institutional commitment to expand its international reach and bring higher education closer to different communities.

Through these initiatives, Universidad Espiritu Santo, through its online modality, ratifies its commitment to an accessible, inclusive and global education, which allows students to be educated academically from anywhere in the world, without losing the academic support of an institution of excellence.
