Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) signed a partnership agreement with the DNAMO Entrepreneurship Center of the municipality of Samborondón with the objective of offering an academic endorsement to the enterprises developed by the citizens of the canton.
In addition, the entrepreneurs will have the continuous support of 45 students of Vinculación con la Sociedad of UEES, strengthening the local innovation ecosystem, as workshops will also be held in the areas of finance, marketing and sales.
“Dynamo and Eureka share the spirit of entrepreneurship and this is a way to bring together academia, the public sector and the community. Students and entrepreneurs are welcome to be part of this project,” said Angelike Paez, dean of the faculty of International Studies.
Julio Vásquez, professor of the linkage project, said: “The professors involved will evaluate and provide feedback to the program, generating a cycle of continuous improvement, with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals”.
This agreement reaffirms the commitment of UEES to quality education and the promotion of new entrepreneurial talent in Samborondón. The official event was led by Isidro Fierro, rector of UEES and Juan José Yúñez, mayor of Samborondón.
