UEES won the Effie College with its proposal for the Ciclón brand. Students from the School of Communication Sciences: Nicole Galárraga, Paula Ricaurte, Leonardo Vizhñay, Matías Bravo and Andrés Rendón, under the direction of professor Danny Barbery, participated in the annual contest.

The objective is for the participating teams to think and act like marketing and advertising professionals by developing a strategic, creative and effective solution to the challenge proposed by the brands participating in the program.

«It is a unique experience that brings our students closer to working in the real world. The hands-on learning includes not only preparing a proposal, but understanding what a company requires, teamwork and high doses of creativity.

In two years we have won three awards. As a faculty we know the tone of this competition, always based on theoretical and practical learning.»
Danny Barbery, Ph.D., Academic Director of the School of Communication and guiding faculty member of the winning project.
