The Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) had an outstanding participation in the XI International Accreditation Forum 2025, organized by the Education Quality Accreditation Agency (EQUAA) and held on June 19 and 20 in the city of Loja. This event brought together academic leaders and experts in educational quality assurance from Latin America to discuss trends and challenges in higher education globally.
UEES was represented by Christian Rosero, Director of Innovation, and Elizabeth Arteaga, Head of Quality and Accreditation of the Graduate School, The participants shared institutional experiences in processes of continuous improvement and academic internationalization. The forum allowed strengthening strategic links and learning about good practices implemented by accredited universities in the region.
During the event, UEES received an EQUAA Award in the category of Internationalization for the project “Global Collaboration for the pursuit of developing intercultural competencies in higher education”.”, a proposal developed by the rector of the institution, Dr. Isidro Fierro. This recognition reaffirms UEES's commitment to academic excellence and its global vision in the training of professionals with intercultural competencies.
