Peter Chedraui, renowned professor and researcher at the Universidad Espíritu Santo, has been appointed Honorary Research Professor at DIATROS, a center for Advanced Diagnostics and Treatments based in Barcelona, Spain, specialized in the integral care of women's health, which consolidates his outstanding international trajectory in the field of women's health.

As part of his new role, Chedraui will collaborate with DIATROS as a research associate in the design and conception of scientific protocols for the development of joint projects between DIATROS and local teams in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and vice versa. This strategic alliance seeks to promote clinical research initiatives and generate high impact academic publications in the health area.

This new link represents a key opportunity to strengthen UEES research capabilities and advance international academic cooperation. The joint work will allow the development of innovative solutions with local impact and global projection, reaffirming UEES' institutional commitment to the advancement of knowledge and the welfare of women.
