One of the hallmarks of academic excellence at UEES is the recent inauguration of the Simulation Room for the School of Medicine (SIMUEES), the most advanced simulation clinic in the region. This state-of-the-art facility allows students to immerse themselves in realistic medical scenarios, hone their skills and prepare for real-world challenges. With mannequins capable of simulating cases in 17 medical specialties, SIMUEES is training future physicians with hands-on experience in a controlled environment.
UEES' efforts go beyond the classroom; our institution actively participates in initiatives aimed at environmental conservation and restoration. In collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Samborondón and the United Nations (UN), UEES is leading efforts to restore and create new mangrove reserves in the canton of Samborondón, home to our campus. This project highlights UEES's commitment to environmental preservation and the promotion of native flora to sustain our ecosystem for generations to come.
