The Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, commemorated the International Day of High Abilities through an innovative robotics workshop for 25 children from Zone 8 in Guayas. In this activity, the participants, aged between 6 and 16 years, had the opportunity to develop and practice their programming skills while assembling lego robots under the tutelage of a teacher from the university's Engineering faculty.
This workshop not only provided a platform for the children to apply their technological skills, but was also a space to foster their creativity and imagination. Through the introduction to engineering and the exploration of various professions in this field, the youngsters were stimulated to think beyond conventional boundaries, motivating them to ask questions and seek answers, thus broadening their vision of the world of science and technology.
UEES reiterates its commitment to the creation of enriching educational environments that allow for the integral development of children with high abilities. The university highlights the importance of offering educational programs that stimulate both the cognitive, emotional and social development of these children, avoiding overexertion to ensure that they enjoy their childhood and adolescence while reaching their full potential. Initiatives such as this highlight the fundamental role of educational spaces and the family environment in the formation of these young talents.

Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES), began its academic activities in 1994 as a private, self-financed, non-profit institution. Its spirit of commitment and constant innovation are present in the quality of the service it offers to its community.
