The International Studies Office (IAO) of UEES, has organized the “UEES Global Meetz”, which consists of virtual meetings where students from the institution and other foreign partner universities participate in order to create interaction links between them.

The first joint meeting with the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile was held on July 2 and was very well received. This is an activity that UEES and other partner universities are considering implementing as part of the co-curricular activities in areas of study related to intercultural competencies.

It is planned to hold 2 virtual meetings per month where UEES students and alumni from all faculties can participate. IAO encourages this activity as it is free of charge for students and opens doors for those who do not have the time to travel or the financial capacity to cover travel and/or accommodation expenses.

The contact email for more information is: international@uees.edu.ec

The IAO maintains international agreements with universities in Germany, Australia, Canada, Korea, USA, Brazil, Holland, Italy and more. Among the highlights are: Griffith University (Australia), Niagara College (Canada), Southern New Hampshire University (USA), Kansai Gaidai University (Japan), University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (Switzerland), Universidad Católica de Argentina and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (Brazil).

From this activity, many academic areas will find the importance of integrating knowledge with international experience to generate globally connected professionals and find solutions that improve the quality of life of people and communities in different countries.
