On November 20, the Espiritu Santo University (UEES) was the epicenter of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, with the celebration of the SamboInnova Summit 2024, an event that brought together visionary leaders and international experts to explore the latest technological and business trends.

The first edition of the SamboInnova Summit 2024 marked a milestone in the innovation and entrepreneurship landscape in the region, consolidating itself as a key platform for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of new projects. The event was held at the UEES facilities, bringing together international and local experts in a single space to discuss the future of entrepreneurship ecosystems and sustainability.

A Global Vision Event

With a clear objective of positioning its creators as a benchmark for sustainable innovation in Latin America, This free event allowed the interaction of several key players: entrepreneurs, academics, public and private sector. The summit, which began at 9:00 a.m., offered a series of keynote lectures and panel discussions, providing practical tools and valuable insights into the innovation strategies that are revolutionizing the business world.

The SamboInnova Summit was more than just a summit; it was a meeting point for visionaries seeking to transform their environment through collaboration and shared learning.

International experts shared their wisdom

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of international speakers who shared their experiences and visions on how to create collaborative ecosystems and foster large-scale innovation. Renowned speakers included:

  • Alberto Rodriguez and Andres Haddad from TheCUBE (Spain), an innovative entrepreneurship and technology ecosystem that helps large corporations address significant challenges through radical innovation.
  • Felipe Contreras-Haye from Gulliver & Boma Chile, an expert in collaborative ecosystems who has accelerated startups and B-companies in Latin America.

In addition, prominent national leaders were also present to contribute their vision on entrepreneurship in Ecuador, among them: Juan José Yúnez - Mayor of Samborondón, Gustavo Manrique - President of Sambito, Nathalie Cely - Former Minister and President of Fingreen Ecuador; Santiago Peralta - Founder of Pacari, Krysthel Chuchuca - LoliLolita and Marco Mendieta - Ecuador Mission.

The Power of Collaboration

This event was jointly organized by the UEES and the Municipality of Samborondón, The purpose of this alliance was to create a space to break down conventional barriers and foster cooperation between different sectors. Through this alliance, we sought to generate new business and collaboration opportunities that benefit the local and regional community, highlighting the importance of support networks between entrepreneurs, governments and private companies.

The SamboInnova Summit represents a fundamental step towards to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Samborondón.
