Educarte en valores project: a boost to the integral development of children and young people

UEES - Espiritu Santo University > Humanities > Educarte en valores project: a boost to the integral development of children and young people

In an effort to promote values and knowledge in society, the Faculty of Humanities of UEES, through the initial education and music production careers, implemented the project «educarte en valores» (educate you in values). This initiative sought to generate access to quality liberal arts education for children at risk. The project was carried out from April 24 to December 17, 2024, and focused on the Casa Hogar Inés Chambers.

The impact of «educarte en valores» was significant and multifaceted. Beyond the numbers, the project left a deep mark on the community. The participating children and young people not only acquired new knowledge and artistic skills, but also internalized values that are fundamental for their integral development as individuals. The initiative strengthened the social fabric by promoting coexistence, respect and empathy. It also gave UEES students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a real context, developing a sense of social responsibility and commitment to the community.

The project is an example of how collaboration between academia, the community and civil society organizations can generate a positive impact. This project demonstrated that education in values, combined with art, is a powerful tool to transform lives and build a better future. With this kind of initiatives, UEES reaffirms its commitment to the formation of integral professionals, capable of contributing to the development of a more just and equitable society.
