The first day of the presidential debate organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil and UEES was held at the Convention Center of the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo. Today, January 15, the second part of the presidential debate will take place.

On the first day, 7 of the 16 candidates commented on their proposals and ideas. The conduction of “The Moment of Truth.”, as the debate was called, was led by the Ecuadorian journalist Andrea Bernal.

Guillermo Lasso, from CREO - PSC; Geovanni Andrade, from Unión Ecuatoriana; Gerson Almeida, from Ecuatoriano Unido; Paúl Carrasco, from Juntos Podemos; Guillermo Celi, from SUMA; Pedro Freile, from Movimiento Amigo; and Javier Hervas, from Izquierda Democrática, are seven of the 16 presidential aspirants who participated. Andres Arauz was also invited but did not attend the event.

Today from 20:00 do not miss the #DebatePresidencial2021. The invited presidential candidates are: Carlos Sagnay, César Montufar, Lucio Gutierrez, Juan Fernando Velasco, Yaku Pérez, Isidro Romero, Gustavo Larrea and Ximena Peña.
