The first "Brochazo a la School of Dentistry of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The event began at 10:20am with remarks by the UEES Chancellor, Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado.
Among the authorities who participated in the ceremony were: Dr. Joaquín Hernández, Rector; Dr. Carlos Ortega Maldonado, Chancellor; Dr. Juan Pablo Ortega, Administrative Vice Rector; Dr. Pedro Barberán; Dr. Enrique Ortega. Also present were members of the Board of Dentistry, formed by: Dr. Raul Guerra; Dr. Luis Centeno; Dr. Charbel Saab; Dr. Miguel Lebed. They are in charge of advising on the academic part of the school.
Viviana Avilés Martínez, a student of the school's first graduating class, spoke on behalf of the students.
“This morning is going to be unforgettable for most of us, as it is a big step for UEES and for our career. I want to thank the authorities, professors and all the people who have made this project possible.”
