Program Mission

To develop ethical, innovative professionals, with capacity and leadership to face the challenges of project management, through a comprehensive training based on the application of best practices and international standards with strategic and business vision, to generate value and contribute to the sustainability of organizations and society.

Aimed at

Professionals with a third level degree in areas of knowledge related to Education, Social Sciences, Law, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Economics, Finance, Administration, Accounting or Engineering, Industry and Construction, duly registered in SENESCYT, who are linked to the project area, either as directors or as members of the team.

Graduation Profile

At the end of the Master's Degree in Project Management the professional will be able to:

Theoretical Field (Knowledge)

  • Methods, techniques, tools and models for the formulation, design, execution and evaluation of a project.
  • Best practices, in international use, for the initiation, planning, execution, control and closure of projects.
  • General knowledge of communication and human resources management models for the management of high performance teams, respecting gender equity, interculturality and dialogue of knowledge.
  • Principles of Ethics and Professional Conduct in Project Management.

Professional Field (Know-how)

  • Formulate, plan, execute, control, monitor and close projects, whether public or private, for social or investment purposes.
  • Design the structure for linking portfolios, programs and projects so that their results contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Consolidate project teams that are: multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, cohesive, with values and principles, respectful of interculturality, the rights of good living and critical of their actions, by applying interpersonal skills and following the principles of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
  • Perform advisory, consulting and project management functions.

Research Field (Knowing How to Know)

  • Ability to conduct research in the following areas: (a) Project Management Models in high performance organizations, (b) Development of new products and/or services, and (c) Competency profile of the human talent involved in project management.

Axiological Field (Knowing how to be)

  • Applies international best practices and principles of ethics and professional conduct in Project Management.

Admission process

  1. Fill out the digital admission form, making sure to upload the following mandatory documents:
    • Copy of identity card and/or passport.
    • Copy of the Certificate of Registration of the degree that evidences third level studies in Senescyt. In the case of degrees issued abroad, the diploma must be duly apostilled or legalized by consular means.
  1. Make the registration payment through the UEES services portal (non-refundable and valid for up to 12 months).
