The Economy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network of Latin America and the Caribbean (RIE) aims to promote the study, dissemination and training in innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the EIR and the Doctorate in Administration and Management of Organizations of the Universidad Espíritu Santo invite to submit research papers in Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the 7th Conference of the Network, to be held on October 20 and 21, 2023 at the Universidad Espíritu Santo, Km. 2.5 via La Puntilla - Samborondón, Ecuador.

Empirical and theoretical papers will be positively evaluated on the following topics: barriers to innovation and entrepreneurship; economic environment, entrepreneurship and innovation; entrepreneurship and gender; performance of entrepreneurship activities; entrepreneurship and social innovation; creative industries; innovation financing; venture capital; program evaluation; innovation and social disparity; innovation and trade diversification; innovation and value chains; research and health collaboration; green innovation; innovation and digital technologies; innovation and circular economy.

We will accept the submission of complete works as well as works in progress.

Selected papers will be announced on August 20 and will be eligible to apply for partial funding to present at the conference.
