UEES - Espiritu Santo University > Museum of Presidents

The Museum of Presidents at Espiritu Santo University (UEES), located in Samborondón, is a space dedicated to preserving and exhibiting personal items, decorations, and historical documents belonging to those who have served as President of the Republic of Ecuador. It was inaugurated in June 2012.

Currently, the museum houses the presidential sashes of Carlos Julio Arosemena Tola, Otto Arosemena Gómez, Carlos Julio Arosemena Monroy, Jaime Roldós Aguilera, León Febres- Cordero, Abdalá Bucaram, Gustavo Noboa Bejarano, Alfredo Palacio González, Rafael Correa, and Lenín Moreno. The collection also includes ceremonial staffs, diplomatic passports, handwritten letters, decorations, medallions, and other significant objects belonging to figures such as the Baron of Carondelet, Juan José Flores, Vicente Rocafuerte, Isidro Ayora, and José María Velasco Ibarra, among others.

This museum serves an educational and institutional purpose by offering students and visitors the opportunity to learn about the legacy of Ecuador’s presidents from a historical and cultural heritage perspective.
