Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) took part in the 11th edition of the QS Reimagine Education 2024 Awards, held from December 9 to 11 in London. This event, considered one of the most important worldwide in the field of education, brought together elite universities, academic leaders, innovators and experts in education with the aim of sharing experiences and strategies to boost innovation and educational leadership.
The QS Reimagine Education Awards is an international platform that recognizes pioneers in education, highlighting innovative pedagogical approaches that improve learning outcomes and employability. This year, the event's mission focused on reimagining the future of work, universities and learning, from a sustainability and values perspective. In this context, UEES was honored to be part of this global space for exchange and reflection.
In this edition, UEES research professor Natalia Molina presented her valuable research on Ecuadorian mangroves and their interaction with the ecosystem, a fundamental contribution to the care of the environment. Her participation contributed to enrich the debate on sustainable education, one of the central themes of the conference. This type of innovative research highlights the importance of integrating academic knowledge with current environmental issues.
The conference brought together a broad community of «Reimaginers,» including university leaders, educators, start-ups and policymakers.
