The outstanding scientists of the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES), Manuel Zambrano, Peter Chedraui and Oscar H. del Brutto, have been recognized in the prestigious list of more than 230,000 researchers worldwide that form part of the “Top 2% Scientists Ranking.”.
This ranking, prepared annually by the Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, highlights the most influential scientists in their respective fields, selecting the Top 2% worldwide. Being included in the “Top 2%” is a recognition not only of the quality and impact of each scientist's research, but also of their contribution to the development of global knowledge and their influence on the academic and professional environment.
The list ranks scientists in 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields, using data from the Scopus database. This process identifies researchers whose work has had a significant impact and has been highly cited.
