María Elizabeth Arteaga, doctoral student in Administration and Management of Organizations at Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES), and Alexandra Portalanza (Tutor) stood out at the event. International Conference on Project Management, organized by the EAN University, on September 5 and 6 in Bogota, Colombia.
The conference focused on analyzing the challenges faced by organizations in the global context from a project management perspective. Topics such as energy transition, digital transformation and artificial intelligence invited participants to rethink project management and its role in the organizational context.
During the event, 90 papers were presented, of which only four were recognized as the best. Among them, the research presented by María Elizabeth Arteaga and her tutor, Alexandra Portalanza, who are also directors at UEES, stood out.
The title of his presentation was “Performance of Project Management in Ecuador: Proposal for a Structural Model”.”, The paper addresses in an innovative and scientific manner the efficiency of project management in the Ecuadorian context, proposing a structural model for its improvement. This academic effort was recognized as the best paper of the event.
